PROCESS

This project was developed over approximately eight sessions, each lasting between five and seven hours. The photographs capture different stages of the process, with fully healed areas alongside sections that were more recently tattooed.

Working through these different stages allows me to continually evaluate and refine the piece, strengthening depth, tonal values and subtle details as the tattoo heals. This gradual process is essential to achieving the final balance and dimensionality I look for in large-scale black & grey work.
